USATF Masters Indoor Champs, an insight to their Torun medal chances

This weekend see’s the USATF Masters Indoor Championships, and with only a few weeks to go until the world Championships, I for one will keep a keen eye on the results.  Of course not every athlete who will be going to Torun will be competing this weekend, but, it will be good to see those that do.

As you will be aware I posted a while ago about Cash For Medals, the USA team attempt to bring back more medals, in-fact to top the medal chart in Torun.  And of course with funds being given to athletes to achieve this based on their “Going-In” times it will be good to see exactly where the USA tops out.

Welcome USATF Masters Competitors and your guests!

the event will be held at Winston-Salem and it has a long and successful history as a sports destination.  You can rest assured that the highest level of commitment is being made by all the staff involved to make the Championships a success..

The USATF Masters Indoor Championships will as always include athletes with ages from 30 – 95+.  Competition within each age group will be fierce as they aim for gold.  Track events will range from 60 meters to 3,000 meters, while field events will include the full range of indoor jumps and throws.

Please enjoy your time in Winston-Salem and we wish you the best of luck as you get set to compete.
